London based folk rockers Noah and the Whale released their debut album ‘Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down’ in 2008 to critical acclaim. With a musical set up including ukuleles, violins and glockenspiels, don’t assume this music is twee. Their quirky folk pop, rich in melody and at times melancholy, is catchy and clever.
